Welcome to my personal website! I am Atul Gaur, an experienced Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 25 years of diverse work experience. My journey has spanned the Indian Navy and various corporate organizations.
Professional Background
Indian Navy
My career began with the Indian Navy as a short-service commissioned officer. Here, I managed challenging fabrication projects involving exotic materials like titanium and naval boiler retubing projects. I also served on an Indian Naval Frigate, where I honed my leadership skills and technical expertise.
Project Management Excellence
After my tenure with the Navy, I transitioned to the corporate world. I have managed complex projects, such as Dryers and Evaporator Projects. Currently, I am focusing on developing and implementing the Project Management Excellence Framework, a maturity assessment model that drives project management best practices. I have also conceptualized a new process for documenting project learning called Life Cycle Management of Lessons Learned, which includes a web-based application for continuous improvement activities.
